Post-purchase email with invitation to review. These are event-based or triggered messages keyed off of recent purchase activity and sent within the optimal time period for the particular product. These emails include a strong call to action to invite the customer to rate and review, including a customized URL that links directly to the review page.
- Post-review follow-up email. To assure customers that their review has been posted or inform them if it hasn’t and why, a triggered email should be sent within a few days of the event. As with post-purchase review invitation emails, these messages can be built in full HTML with dynamic content to include customized cross-sells, offers, etc.
- Customer voice in email content. Increasing numbers of clients are utilizing actual customer quotes and ratings in their marketing content, including their email promotions. With CheetahMail’s tools, clients can set up simple A/B tests to monitor how this copy-writing approach fares against standard messaging.
