Mistergooddeal's conversion surges 40%, time on site increases 24% with Ratings & Reviews

Created in 2000, Mistergooddeal.com has become one of the leaders in the French online commerce market. Through its partnerships with leading brands, Mistergooddeal.com offers their customers an exhaustive selection with over 12,000 products, including major and small appliances, home entertainment, furniture, bedding, computer equipment, DYI, clothing, and more.

Part of Groupe M6, Mistergooddeal.com is particularly demanding about the quality of service they offer their customers, starting from the navigation on their website through the delivery and use of the purchased products. They have three to five million unique visitors per month to their site, and 1.5 million subscribers to their email newsletter. In 2007, Mistergooddeal.com was rated No. 1 in customer satisfaction according to DirectPanel, a French online research firm, was given the prize "Favorite Site of Internet / Category High Tech" by the FEVAD (Federation of E-commerce and Distance Selling).

Mistergooddeal implemented Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews in April, 2008, to increase customer engagement and sales conversion.

What we measured

We looked at top-rated products and time on site before and after Ratings & Reviews went live. Data was analysed on 1 August, 2008.

Results

Mistergooddeal saw dramatic results after just four months with Ratings & Reviews live on their site.

  • Top Rated products conversion increased by 40% (comparing before and after reviews went live).
  • Mistergooddeal attributed a 24% increase in time on site to the presence of Ratings & Reviews.
